The Aeronautical Information Service (AIS) is the national service that publishes official aviation information: NOTAMs and the AIP — the Aeronautical Information Publication, the official manual of charts and data for manned aviation. It is aviation's "official notice board", relied on by the whole industry.
A drone pilot meets AIS in practice as the source of NOTAMs. Know its limits, though: AIP charts do not show the full list of UAS zones — airspace.lv remains the authority for drone zones.
