The wizard filters our independently reviewed catalog by your goal and budget, then scores models on your preferences (4K, flight time, compactness, experience level). It never recommends a model we haven't reviewed.
+Will I need a licence for the recommended drone?
Each recommendation shows the certificate the model needs in the EU Open category (none, A1/A3, or A1/A3 + A2) and whether operator registration applies. Use the category checker for the exact rule for your drone.
+Is the catalog up to date for 2026?
Yes — every model card lists the sources and the date its specs were last verified; the catalog is refreshed as new models earn a place in it.
+Do you cover industrial drones too?
Yes — the catalog includes enterprise models for inspections and mapping (DJI Matrice 4E, Mavic 3 Enterprise/Thermal, Autel EVO Max 4T). They are C2-class drones, so plan for the A1/A3 exam plus the A2 certificate.
